Undergraduate Theatre Alliance (UTA)
The Undergraduate Theatre Alliance (UTA) is an organization on
the LSU campus devoted to nourishing the needs and wants of undergraduate
theatre students. Formed in the Spring of 2002, the organization
proudly plans and runs skill-building and social opportunities that
contribute to the student's growth and involvement throughout his
or her tenure in the LSU Theatre program.
UTA provides
- involvement in the department by forming relationships with
other students and faculty
- opportunities for artistic expression and practical experience
- involvement in productions
- skill-building workshops
- scholarship opportunities
- a fun social atmosphere
UTA Body Meetings are held every other Monday of the month and
take place at 5:00PM in Theatre 150.
