Beckett Classic comes to
the LSU Studio
The 2007-2008 LSU Theatre Department’s Studio Season is proud to present Samuel Beckett’s groundbreaking masterwork Waiting for Godot directed by LSU Department of Theatre undergraduate Mickey Gray.
Waiting for Godot is the existential comic romp that changed western theatre forever. This tale of two lost souls searching for the mysterious Godot is told with vaudevillian panache while dressed in S&M garb. It’s a show that will intrigue, confound and totally delight its audience.
Waiting for Godot will be performed at the Hatcher Hall Theatre on Fieldhouse Drive on the LSU Campus, and runs from April 15 to April 19, 2008 at 7:30 pm and on April 20, 2008 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets are $6.00, and can only be purchased at the door.
