| Ken joins LSU and Swine Palace from East Carolina University, where he was tenured professor and the area coordinator of both the Design and Production, and Stage Management concentrations. Ken received his BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and his MFA from The University of Texas at Austin. His designs have been seen in theatres across the southeast including The Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Arrowrock Lyceum Theatre (MO), Birmingham Summerfest (AL), Cumberland County Playhouse (TN), The Dogwood Dell Amphitheater (VA), and Cape Fear Regional Theatre (NC). Among his favorite lighting designs are God's Country, The Physicists, and How I Learned to Drive. In 1981 Ken received the Richmond News Leader's Phoebe Award – Best Lighting Design for a Play.
