(Associate Professor, Facilities Manager, Theatre Technology) joined the LSU Theatre Program in 1984 and has worked on over 150 productions in various capacities for both LSU Theatre and Swine Palace. He holds B.F.A and M.F.A degrees in theatre technology, as well as a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Newark College of Engineering. He has served as Technical Director at several universities and has been a theatre consultant for various professional firms. He has worked as a professional stagehand in theatre and television. Professor Acampora is a certified moving light technician, and has attended seminars on projection technology. He currently serves as Master Electrician and Facilities Manager, in addition to serving as the department representative for the Music and Dramatics Arts Building renovation.
