Swine Palace
Founded in 1992 by RSC Resident Director Barry Kyle, Swine Palace
is a non-profit professional theatre formed and operated
with the support of Louisiana State University. Through the presentation
of celebrated works of Southern Literature, the innovative exploration
of the classic theatre and commitment to producing new pieces
by native writers, Swine Palace makes a significant impact on
the cultural and economic landscape of Louisiana. SP is housed
in the newly renovated 480-seat Reilly Theatre.

Recent student accomplishments and awards include an article in
Profile; reviews in Theatre Journal; and papers presented at the
American Society for Theatre Research, the Mid-America Theatre
Conference, the Institute for Integral Development Conference
on Family Therapy, the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival, the
Association for Theatre in Higher Education, the South Central
Modern Language Association, the American Conference for Irish
Studies, the Towson State University Conference on the Scholarship
